“मेरी सोसायटी, शिक्षा की साथी” is a community-driven initiative by TrueLeaf Foundation that aims to bridge the educational gap between privileged and underprivileged children. Through this campaign, residents of housing societies are encouraged to donate gently used school essentials such as school bags, notebooks, textbooks, stationery, water bottles, geometry boxes, uniforms, and other learning materials that are no longer in use but remain in good condition.
Many children from economically weaker families are forced to attend school without adequate learning resources, while thousands of usable educational materials remain unused in homes and eventually go to waste. This initiative creates a meaningful connection between communities and children in need by transforming surplus school supplies into opportunities for education.
The collected materials are carefully sorted, refurbished when necessary, packed into school kits, and distributed to deserving children studying in government schools, tribal communities, and underserved areas. Beyond supporting education, the campaign also promotes the principles of reuse, responsible consumption, and environmental sustainability.
Through the active participation of residential societies, “मेरी सोसायटी, शिक्षा की साथी” seeks to create a culture of sharing and social responsibility where every family contributes to a child’s learning journey. A simple act of donating an old school bag or a set of books can help a child continue their education with confidence and dignity.
